Hi everbody! Welcome to our blog.

The floor is open; what shall be our first topic of discussion?

God is everything: agree or disagree? Why?

  1. Well, I would have to agree that GOD is everything. He created us! Need I say more!?

  2. If you believe in God then the sense of his existence is that he is EVERYTHING which means there is NOTHING he is not. Yes, I would say God is everything. I would also say that, for my self, God is an interesting term and I think it has connotations that I don't necessary adopt, but the idea of something being responsible for all creation I agree with...and therefore...if that is "God" then God is everything...hope that makes some sense haha.

  3. Would the largescale acceptance of this change anything about our world? How about our perceptions of and relations with other people?

  4. Well, that would be a tough question to answer, Mitchell, since there are so many cosmologies out there. If there was truly only one God, which I believe there is, then there should only be one cosmology? Then again, Allah, Yahweh, God...these are 3 different people to other religions (even though the "big 3" all perceive Him to be the same creator with different names). And, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, etc all hold the belief in multiple gods, so it's difficult to say how largescale acceptance would affect the world.

Personally, I think it would make the world a rather boring place as there wouldn't really be a reason to fight the "jihad" (if you will). But it would be rather peaceful, lol!

  5. Hey everyone, whats new in the religion aspect of things...anything? I am reading Angels and Demons and have to say there is some crazy science out there...what do you guys think? Too much science or not enough?

Personally, I appreciate and respect science, but I also feel there are certain things that need to be left alone...i.e. there are diseases to help with population control, people age...again population control etc. So by playing with nature perhaps we are getting ahead of ourselves and in for a surprise...what you all think?
